我が家もグリーン・エネルギー購入！
Zepp Tokyoに影響されて、日本でも一般家庭でグリーン電力を購入できないかな？（ヨーロッパでは既にそういうサービスが次々と出て来ています）と思って色々調べてみたら、いやいや、日本も進んでますね！ありました、ありました。そこで早速、購入！これで我が家も、2006年1月〜2006年12月の毎週日曜日、消費する電力がバイオマスによる発電でまかなわれます！
方法はとっても簡単。昨日も紹介した、日本自然エネルギー株式会社（東京電力などが出資して設立された会社）が運営しているCo2フリーというサイトにいきます。そこで販売している、Green Sunday Calenderを2900円で購入するだけです。簡単でしょ？
厳密に言うと、個人が日曜日に家庭で使用する消費電力に対応する310kWhが、 バイオマス発電のために使われる（北海道などで実施）ということで、我が家では従来通り、東京電力から電気を買うことになるんですが、まぁ一種のバイオマス発電に対する投資と考えると、とっても気持ちいいですよね。しかも可愛いカレンダーを組み立てながら、ゆっくりスローな日曜日を送る、なんていいじゃないですか！
日本自然エネルギー株式会社に問い合わせたところ、個人消費者向けキャンペーンとして、カレンダー販売の前に、Tシャツを販売してグリーン電力購入を呼びかけたところ、当初３００枚の予定が、１７００枚売れたんですって。個人消費者の意識も随分高くなってきてますよね。
ちなみに、一般家庭の平均使用電力は、4000kWhで、これを全てグリーン電力で購入しようとすると、今までの電気代プラス４万円はかかるそう。まだ全てをグリーンにするのには、ちょっと高いかなぁ〜。でも東京電力なんかも風力で発電した電気を買い始めているそうなので、もう少しお手頃になるのも、そんなに遠くない気がします。
その他に、個人でグリーン電力をサポートする方法として、グリーン電力基金というものもあるそうです。これは毎月一口500円を通常の電気代に上乗せして支払い、自然エネルギー普及のために寄付をするというもの。
これから暖房器具を多用する季節。皆さんも、家庭の電気をグリーンエネルギーに切り替えてみませんか？お財布もそんなに圧迫しない形で、自然環境に優しい暮らしが出来るなんて、いいですよね！

いや、別に暗い一日になるとかではありません。（その方が分かりやすくていいかもね。）ブログにも書いたように、310kWh分（個人が一日に使う電気の平均量らしい）がバイオマス発電（今回の場合は北海道らしい）に投資されるだけで、実際には普段と同じように化石燃料や原子力で作られた電力を東京電力から買うまでです。だから特に変化はないんです。でも、その分、北海道近くの人はバイオマス発電された電気を使うんだから、日本全体では、自然エネルギーの利用料が増えるというわけ。
そうそう、このプロジェクトやってるの、石橋君とかえちゃんだったのよー。momも覚えてるでしょ？すごいよねー！
